Nice weather is over. Winter is actually going to arrive this week. Still a few things to do outside but not much that can't wait until spring. Need to get planning done for next year but just can't seem to find the time. So much for the "slow season". Plenty of interesting conferences this winter just not sure if I will have the time. I am to give a presentation at NOFA in Feb. on my greenhouses. That should be fun and interesting. Winter schedule works out well this year with a 3 week break from the market that goes from Dec. 19th to Jan. 7th. Trying to decide weather or not I will continue the CSA next year. Customers have been great and it's always fun to be able to talk to everyone. I am considering things from a business perspective as well as a sanity perspective. The sanity part comes from also doing the summer market every Saturday and family life is suffering for it. I will keep everyone posted as to what I decide. On another sanity note I am already getting a lot of great candidates for farm help for next season. It's going to be a tough decision especially since once I bring someone in I am very reluctant to change my mind. I will post again soon. Need to get my website updated as well.
